Fishing going well on Hennepin and gravel
Fishing: Reports around the lake continue to be great. Nice numbers of smaller walleye with a few big ones mixed in. Last weekend, rental houses had anywhere from 7 – 20+ walleyes. The deep side of Hennepin was doing well last weekend, and the gravel bars continue to produce.
During prime time (dawn/dusk), fish on the tops of the rock piles, then the bottom edges during the day. Depth of water depends on which hump you are on – 20-25 on top and down to 33 off the bottom edge. Still seeing northerns in the bay on tips ups and spearing. Chilly this weekend, so watch for cracks on the road, mainly in the mornings.
We have openings for sleepers, day houses and spear houses. Call and take advantage of our weekend and weekday specials.
Roads: ALL our usual roads are plowed.
Vehicle Traffic: all good; wheel houses welcome
